Deluxe has developed a strong place in Tokyo’s fashion scene. Alongside sister brand Bedwin, the two have released a consistent string of well-developed and refined collections. Earning the notice of Vans, they have teamed up to offer their own interpretation of the SK8-HI for release next year. The shoe features a textured leather similar to wood grain and previously seen on such designer goods as Louis Vuitton’s Epi collection. The Deluxe tag can be seen along the top of the laces with a paisley lining.

Previews have surfaced regarding the latest shoe designed by Jason Jesse for the Vans Syndicate collection. Based on the SK8-HI, the shoe features a full leather upper with caramel colored constrat stripe along the side. A deep v-cut is seen in the heel, alongside a leather insole. According to sources, set to release sometime in 2009.
